Volkswagen increases van sales in 2016

Volkswagen increased its Commercial Vehicle sales by 4.7%.

Within the first four months of 2016, Volkswagen increased its percentage of commercial vehicle sales by 4.7%.

On a worldwide scale, by the end of April 2016, Volkswagen managed to sell 154,600 CVs. The top selling model was indeed the T-series with the impressive amount of 64,500 sales (9.4% increase on the same period last year) while the Caddy had an increase of 3.9% over previous sales.

 In a nutshell, Volkswagen’s CV sales between January and April were increased by 4% in Germany, 32.5% in Italy, 25.2% in Spain, 17.9% in France and 9.4% in Argentina.

Eventually, people at Volkswagen, like Bram Schot, the Head of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Sales and Marketing, can only be happy based on the turn of events.
